Home Suites Giolitti is probably the easiest place to find in all of Rome. If you’re coming from Fiumicino (FCO), grab the Leonardo Express train. It rolls into platforms 23-24 at Termini—handy both to Via Giolitti and near an often-overlooked side exit so you don’t have to march your way through the whole colossal station just step out sideways from the platform walk two hundred meters down the street and there’s the door This could easily be one of those rare arrivals where home beds land within scarcely more than an hour over a flight.
If you are flying into Ciampino low-cost airport (CIA), then you are even luckier. Most shuttle buses (Terravision, SitBus, etc.) have their last stop exactly on Via Giolitti- either right across the street or one block away from the building where this hotel is located. You won’t need to get down into the metro station or grab a taxi – just get off the bus and walk into your hotel! This is indeed a big plus if you have heavy luggage because Roman cobblestones are merciless to suitcase wheels.
You're at mission control for Roman transport. Further travel options? The Termini metro station (both A and B lines), directly beneath the rail station, shoots you over to Vatican, Spanish Steps or EUR district fast. More convenient? In the Piazza dei Cinquecento-that's the square right in front of the station-is Rome's main bus terminal from which every route leaves to all those parts of Rome not covered by metro service (for example Trastevere district or Pantheon served by 64 or 40 bus)-even more comprehensive! Strictly not recommended that you rent a car here(ZTL[Limited Traffic Zone]and virtually no parking spaces).
